A managed backup system is where a trusted third party provider continuously monitors your backup system to ensure successful backups are completed as scheduled. This could be by remotely monitoring your existing backup strategy right through to the third party being in complete control of the backup(s) and the equipment utilised.

As part of the managed backup solution we regularly undertake a test restore of some random files to prove the validity of the backup. Also a complete list of each file contained within the backup can be provided to you to show what is (or is not) being backed up.
